Handrail Bracket

Printed solid with PETG plastic for it's strength, this bracket was designed to add stability to a handrail in a 140 year old home.  The bracket features a large base at the sidewall and grabs the bottom of the handrail on both sides, preventing it from slipping side-to-side.  A wide gusset in the center of the bracket transfers the load against the sidewall.  The holes in the base plate and handrail mount will accept a 3/16" diameter screw long enough to reach wall or floor framing.  I recommend stainless steel, but to each their own.

We will customize this design to meet your needs!  You will have to provide the following information so that we can size the bracket properly:

Distance from the center of the handrail to the sidewall you will be mounting to

Width at the bottom of the handrail section where the bracket will be mounted

This bracket is not recommended for any application where the centerline-to-wall distance is greater than 8 or 9 inches.  Please provide measurements in millimeters for accuracy!
